Tourism

Also in the occupational field tourism, there are differences between the German and Czech training. In Germany you can learn the profession Hotel Expert in hotels. 1-2 days per week you visit the vocational school for hotel management staff, the rest of the time you are working in the  hotel.

In the Czech Republic you visit the technical college in specialized tourism. After 4 years you have the professional qualification and the Czech High School graduation. Substantive differences are that the training in Germany purely dedicated to the activities at the hotel, but the Czech training prepared for a wide range of activities in the tourism sector such as:

animation for children, guides, employees in the tourism information, hotel reception, travel agency, etc.
